Patient Journeys

Peripheral nerve injuries (PNIs) can cause people to live with chronic pain or loss of sensation significantly decreasing the qualify of life. PNIs can be the result of common injuries or swelling to accidents ranging from simple falls or cuts to traumatic injuries.

Due to the difficulty in diagnosing these injuries, patients can live for years with these injuries before they find the proper care. The GNF is working to shorten this time by raising awareness of these injuries. Below patients share their stories and what they have learned to help others.
