At the Global Nerve Foundation, we:
- Decipher medical and diagnostic terminology, treatment nomenclature, and technical definitions into accessible and appropriate language for patients to understand.
- Inform patients and providers on prognosis and success probability for therapeutic options and treatment selection
- Motivate patients to engage in the conversation at every step of their nerve journey.
- Create and champion consensus on patient assessment methodology and standards
- Standardize how outcomes are measured and evaluated
- Engage patients in the conversation at every step of their nerve journey
- Create the understanding of total cost of care due to peripheral nerve injuries for all involved parties—from patients and providers to payers and caregivers.
